When required, the HPE NEtworking SSE Agent can be uninstalled from the device. An uninstall One-Time Passord (OTP) must be entered at the time of uninstallation. This is also applicable to users with admin rights on the device.

Getting the Uninstall OTP (Administrator)

1. In the management console, go to Settings > Enrolled Agents.
2. On the user's agent row, click One Time Passwords.
3. Copy the uninstall OTP and send it to the user.

The OTP expires based on the existing Password Expiration Time setting.

Uninstall the agent (End-User)

• Windows: Start the uninstall. When asked, enter the OTP and click OK.
• macOS: Run the uninstaller app that's installed with the agent. When asked, enter the OTP.
• Linux: Start the uninstall. If a desktop is available, a dialog asks for the OTP. Without a desktop (for example, over SSH), the terminal asks for it.

If the OTP is correct, the uninstall continues. If you enter a wrong OTP or cancel, the uninstall stops and the agent stays installed in its earlier state.
