When onboarding new users to the HPE Networking SSE platform, administrators can send automated welcome invitations. The Welcome Email Customization editor allows administrators to tailor email copy, incorporate organizational branding, and provide custom onboarding instructions.

Overview

The Welcome Email template editor provides:

• Custom Content: Edit the title, subtitle, logo, banner image, message, and support details. Links can be added to the custom message.
• Automatic User Details: Each email automatically includes the user's workspace name, username, and a set password link.
• Preview: Preview how the email will look before saving.
• Tenant-Wide Application: Used for all welcome emails sent to new HPE Networking SSE IdP users after you save and apply changes.

Configuring the Welcome Email Template

1. In the HPE Networking SSE Management Console, go to Settings > Customization.

2. Select the Welcome Email tab.

3. In the welcome email customization pop-up, configure the following fields:

   • Title – Enter the title shown at the top of the email, next to the logo. If this is left empty, HPE Networking SSE is used.
   • Subtitle – Enter the subtitle shown under the title. If this is left empty, Formerly Axis Security is used.
   • Workspace Name – (not editable ) Set automatically with the user's workspace name.
   • Username – (not editable) Set automatically with the user's username.
   • Additional Custom Message (Optional) – Enter a custom message (up to 500 characters). To add a link, use the syntax [link text](https://example.com).
   • Terms and Conditions (Optional) – Enter the link to your terms and conditions. It must start with http:// or https://.
   • Reach us at (Optional) – Enter the applicable support email address for your organization.
   • Team Name (Optional) – Enter the team name (for example HPE Networking SSE Team).
   • Company Logo and Feature Image – Upload a PNG, JPG, or GIF up to 1 MB. The logo must be at least 50×50 px. The feature image must be at least 600 px wide and 140–600 px high. If none is uploaded, the default HPE logo and banner are used.

4. Click Preview Email to see how the email will look. This will not send an email.

5. Click Save to save your welcome email template.

6. Click Apply Changes.

   The customized email will be used for all welcome emails sent.
