Adding an Identity Object
You can create identity objects for Okta, Azure, and Axis IdP that contain users and/ or user groups. These identities are then used when creating a policy rule. Identity objects allow you to create one policy rule that is effective for a number of users or groups together.

Adding a New Identity Object
You can create a new identity object in one of two ways:
- Add an identity in the process of creating a policy rule.
- Create a new identity object.
Adding an identity from the rule form:
- Go to Policy-> Rules-> New Rule.
- Click Add next to the Identity field.
- Select the relevant Identity Provider.
The New Identity dialog opens.
Adding an identity object:
- Go to Policy-> Identities-> New Identity.
The New Identity dialog opens.
Configuring a New Identity Object
- In the New Identity dialog add a name for the identity object.
- Add a description (optional).
Users and Groups
- Click the toggle next to Pair users or groups with specific destination addresses if you wish to create several user-destination pairs. Otherwise, leave the toggle disabled.
Click here to learn more about multiple user-destination pairings. - Enter users/groups. Click Add a User/ Group to add more users or groups to the identity object.
- Click Submit
