Creating a New Application Tag

Application tags group a set of applications together. It is a logical grouping and is useful for assigning a set of applications to a department or a group of users using one or more tags instead of manually associating each application. This streamlines the administration process.

Tags help create policy rules fast and efficiently for groups of applications. Tags can be created and edited in the Application Settings' dialog.

Creating a New Application Tag

  1. In the Management Console, click Settings -> Applications.
  2. Click Tags
  3. Click Add Tags.

New Tag

  1. Enter a name.
  2. Select the relevant applications from the Applications drop-down menu.
  1. Click Submit.
  2. In the top right menu bar, click Apply Changes.
  3. Review your changes and click Commit changes.
