Troubleshooting RDP: Users Cannot Transfer Files

This document describes the different scenarios that can prevent RDP users from transferring files.

If your users cannot transfer files during an RDP session, perform the following troubleshooting procedures:.

  1. Step 1: Verifying that the RDP Client Allows Drive Redirection

  2. Step 2: Verify that RDP Group Server Security Policy Allows Drive Redirectionile Transfers.

  3. Step 3: Verify that the Axis Security RDP Policy Allows File Transfers

  4. Verify that you can transfer files using the RDP client and RDP server without Axis Cloud.
    Important: If the RDP client is able to directly connect to the RDP server and transfer files, contact Axis support for assistance.
